Citation/Bibliographic Managers (EndNote and RefWorks)

This week's topic are EndNote and RefWorks, which are two bibliographic managers that will allow you to save, manage, and cite references downloaded from a variety of sources (e.g., SciFinder or Web of Science). You can essentially build your own bibliographic database using these software products. If interested in learning more, please drop by mu office or contact me. There is more information about accessing and getting started at the following webpage: http://library.tamu.edu/help/help-yourself/citing-sources.

Interactive Tables and Graphs in Knovel - An eBook Collection of Science/Engineering

Knovel - a collection science and engineering eBooks - contains productivity tools that allows one to interactively plot and extrapolate data contained within tables and graphs of eBooks in Knovel [e.g., Yaw's Chemical Properties Handbook, Polymer Handbook, and DIPPR 801 (A database containing thermophysical properties)]. If interested, please let me know. I can come by and do a demo or provide more information. You can access the database from the library's database webpage or directly using the following URL: http://lib-ezproxy.tamu.edu:2048/login?url=http://c-polychrest.tamu.edu:8331/V?func=native-link&resource=TEX02015
